Last week, Intel announced the arrival of the new dual-core N570 processor into their long running Atom family of processor for netbooks. Being the second dual-core Atom offering from Intel after the release of N550 in August 2010, the new N570 is relatively the same as its older sibling - four threads, 1MB of L2 cache, support for DDR3 667 memory and 8.5W TDP - except that it has a slightly higher clock speed at 1.66GHz.
Intel stated that systems based on the new core will heading to consumers starting from this month onwards and quite a number of such system were already on display at the recently concluded CeBIT 2011. So, expect them to be available in our market soon enough.
